As far as I know, Kotlin is not the first programming language to implement null safety, and Dart won't be the last. I mentioned that Kotlin and Swift already have this language feature, and I never said that is something innovative in the world of programming languages. The novelty is only for Dart (also transitive to Flutter) and is part of Dart's language evolution.
